A bright fireball was independently reported by two network nodes on the same night, with triangulated trajectory data suggesting a probable fall zone within a few kilometers of one of our desert sites. A ground search three days later recovered this fragment.
A cut-surface analysis by a university geology contact confirmed it as an ordinary chondrite — a common meteorite type, not a rare find, but a satisfying confirmation that our trajectory triangulation from two amateur setups was accurate enough to actually locate a fall zone.
