    Join the Network

Apogee is free to join for any observer with a documented, working telescope setup. Here’s what that actually involves.

    01

    Bring a telescope

Any documented setup capable of imaging to roughly magnitude 18 can join — we don't require a specific brand or aperture size.

    02

    Set your own hours

The scheduling software works around your availability. Observe once a month or five nights a week — both are useful to the network.

    03

    Use the shared target list

Coordinators publish a prioritized list so no two observers burn a clear night on the same object while others go unwatched.

    04

    Log everything

Confirmed sightings, non-detections, and equipment notes all go in the same public archive — an honest record is the whole point.
